Greetings from the Davenport home...

I am just writing to update you with our life and explain a couple of things.

So this time of year we get really busy. We have a multitude of craft and gift shows we attend and so we just run out of time. If you are receiving our daily Bible Study, I apologize for being behind in that process. I will catch up, I promise.

We have a small business that pays some of the bills. It’s called Sapphire Arts. Click here to visit our website. We work pretty hard to keep it up and during the Holidays, we are very busy with it because of the shows we do. My wife and I also play Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a lot of places, so that is a bit of a demand on us.

Don’t get me wrong, we love doing what we do. God has blessed us on a wonderful scale. And the money is much needed as January and February are extremely slow times for us. So during this time we try really hard to get ahead.

I write all that to say this is why we get behind on other things like the Bible Study.

We also went to see family this last week in California. We had a wonderful time, but it was our holiday treat. We are tied up every weekend plus until Christmas.

So we thank you for your understanding and your support. Especially prayers for safety and guidance. We will be on the road a lot during this time. Here’s one of our favorite Christmas images…

We get to do a non-profit in the next town over. It’s called Santa Paws and supports one of the local humane societies. They bring in animals to get a pic with Santa and then it helps fund raise them.

Sapphire Arts
Our company creates woodcraft and fabric art items. We also do publishing and digital services such as website building. I try hard to keep everything posted, but about once a quarter, I send out a newsletter updating people what is happening. Substack doesn’t really fit that bill, so I will be using a company that is designed for that.

I will be sending them out to this group. As I said it’s not too often, so I hope that is not a problem. If it is, please let me know and I will not add your email to the list.
